Permanent jewelry is a necklace, anklet or a bracelet that doesn’t have a typical clasp. Instead, the ends are welded together. All of Love Weld permanent jewelry pieces are 14k solid gold fine jewelry items that are personalized during your visit.

Can permanent jewelry be removed?

Yes. We recommend scheduling a repair appointment to do so. However, if you need to remove prior to scheduling an appointment you can remove it by clipping the connecting ring or link with a sharp wire cutter (ideal) or a sharp scissor. If you wish to have it re-welded (free) or have a clasp added (for a fee) you can schedule a repair appointment.

Can I go through security / TSA with permanent jewelry?

Yes. Our jewelry is made with 14K solid gold, which is not magnetic. Nothing about your piece is going to set off a metal detector.

How long does permanent jewelry last?

Our chain styles and charms are 14k gold and therefore are durable and should not tarnish. Although the term permanent implies that the jewelry piece will be on you forever, life happens and sometimes jewelry can snag and become undone. Is permanent jewelry waterproof?

As with any other jewelry, durability depends on the material. Loveweld only works with 14k gold so that your permanent jewelry piece is durable even when exposed to water.

Can more than one person get permanent jewelry together?

At Loveweld we love to host groups of people celebrating life with permanent jewelry. Our appointments can host up to 6 people. For larger groups we offer private events.
