What is a Love Weld™ jewelry piece? 

A Love Weld™ piece is a 14k solid gold jewelry item that’s personalized during your visit to our welding studio or online. Once the piece is created, it’s adorned with our special Love Weld™ technology for a clasp free--carefree--wear.

Do I need to have an appointment? 

Walk-ins are available however, appointments are always recommended. You can go to our book an appointment page to learn about the studio welding availability in your area. 

Can I gift a Love Weld™ jewelry piece? 

Yes, the majority of our Love Weld™ jewelry styles are also available online with a clasp.  

You can also purchase gift cards that can be used for scheduled  Love Weld™ studio appointments.

Why do you use 14k Gold?  

The main reason is quality & the hypoallergenic nature of the metal.

Since this permanent jewelry cannot be taken on and off, we want our pieces to be able to live with you without the risk of tarnishing or discoloring your skin.

14k gold cost more than alternative metals, such as brass, sterling, gold plated or gold fill options, but it will last for a lifetime! The other metals aren't bad, but with the special Love Weld™ process you are not unable to remove for proper care which leads to greatly shortening their lifespan.  

Does the weld hurt? 

The welding process is pain free! The welding technology is simply magic and you don't feel the pinprick of light. 

What is the welding policy for minors? 

All minors under the age of 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We do not weld children under the age of 10, but offer adjustable clasped versions that grow with them at no extra charge.   

Do you weld anklets? 

Anklets, rings, necklaces, bracelets...we do it all!

How do I care for my Love Weld™ piece?

Love Weld™ jewelry is made of 14k white and yellow gold in order to give you long-lasting care-free shine & color. We use fine chains for a minimalist, light-weight wear. Like all fine chain, there is a risk of pulling that results in breakage. We ask that you avoid this when possible but understand that life happens! Please see below if your chain breaks. 

What does my 60 day Love Weld™ satisfaction guarantee policy include? 

To ensure that you have a positive welded jewelry experience, we offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee. We do not offer returns or refunds on custom made Love Weld™ jewelry items. Please contact hello@loveweld.com if you have any special needs for your Love Weld™ piece and we will do our best to help to satisfy your request.

What do I do if my Love Weld™ item breaks or I need to cut it off? 

Life happens! We are here to help the best we can. 

If you need to cut off your bracelet for any reason, do so with scissors where the welded ring is located and schedule a welding appointment to have it reattached.

If the item is removed or breaks within the 60 day satisfaction guarantee policy we will reattach or replace lost items free of charge. Simply book your repair appointment. 

For pieces outside of the 60 day policy,  if the item is still in your possession, and needs to be re-welded a $20 + tax service fee will be charged. 

Can I have a clasped version of the Love Weld™ jewelry piece welded on? 

Yes, any of our clasped Love Weld™ collection items can be welded, post-purchase, free of charge during a scheduled appointment.
